IF WE CANCEL THE YOGA RETREAT: We have never had to cancel a retreat, however, if we do cancel a trip due too few participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid. We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that Wild Roots  Yoga must cancel a yoga retreat due to weather, natural disaster or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund – it will be depending on receiving a refund from the venue / tour operator we work with. To cover these risks, we require you purchase travel insurance.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We require all participants traveling with us to purchase trip insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
You cancel your participation in the yoga retreat
Retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants to run the trip
    Lost baggage
Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
We recommend TRAVELGUARD, which offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. If you cancel your retreat – for any reason – your airfare, hotel, retreat costs, etc. up until 48 hours prior to travel, will be covered. This comprehensive package is called the ”Gold Package Cancel for Any Reason Policy”. You must contact Travelguard and purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel. You can also just insure your air tickets. Travelguard can give you quotes for each scenario.

FLIGHT: Please book your travel arrangements through Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in the city of Cusco.
Please book your inbound flight to arrive no later than Saturday, February 1st, 2020. Check-in at the retreat center is at noon and the retreat center is about one hour from Cusco. You are reliable for any accommodations if you chose to fly in earlier than 2/1/2020. Our opening ceremony will be after dinner on the 1st, so arrival time is flexible for that entire day.
Outbound flight must be booked February 8th, 2020 in the afternoon, ideally. If you wish to extend your stay in Peru, you will need to arrange your own accommodations.
Once you have booked your travel arrangements please send a copy of your itinerary with your travel insurance verification to info@wildrootsyoga.com
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: Due to changes in altitude between the city of Cusco and The Sacred Valley, altitude sickness is an expected ailment for anyone who may be sensitive. Please bring whatever you think you will need in order to treat the symptoms. Drinking a lot of water and getting good rest is always the best bet.
The country of Peru is, by definition, a third world country. Please maintain expectations of the accommodations, restaurants, markets and of the people in general that reflect an open mind to experiencing culture that is different from what you may be used to. Wild Roots Yoga, its affiliates, and anyone who travels with us agrees to honor and respect the culture and traditions of the peoples and places that host us.
